Dalit Anger: Beyond 'Diluted' Law?
Reality Check on a day that India, especially north India, has burned with Dalit anger. The protests are meant to have been sparked by recent amendments to the laws meant to prevent atrocities against Dalits and Tribals, or the SC/ST Act as it's known. But the intensity of the protests raises doubts over whether the anger is just limited to modifications in the law.
