Dalits to learn Vedas at Tirupati
The brahmin boys memorising the scriptures at Tirupati's vedic school will, from the next academic year, have dalit classmates. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, for the first time ever, has invited scheduled caste students into its 120-year-old Vedic school.
