Tamil Nadu is the one of the largest economies in the country and its presence in manufacturing is significant, especially in heavy manufacturing in sectors like textiles. Speaking to NDTV's Vishnu Som at Davos, the state's Industry Minister Thangam Thennarasu said that it is interested in emerging technologies and green energy is one of the major areas of interest for it, as the state has strategic advantage in this sector over others.
