The investigative agencies have said that SIMI is an insidious body practicing a dangerous radicalism and some its members have Jihadi links. Involvement of SIMI members like Safdar Nagori and Sajid Mansuri in recent bomb blasts in Ahemdabad and Jaipur are the most recent proof.
