Defiant Dinesh Trivedi refers to himself as Railways Minister
Dinesh Trivedi has defied his party leader Mamata Banerjee and has said that as Railways Minister, it is his duty to get the Railways Budget passed. It was the increase in passenger fares that Mr Trivedi announced yesterday that incensed his boss, who is a member of the UPA government at the Centre. She has written to the PM asking for him to be fired.
