Defiant Gujjars reject peace letter
The Gujjars have rejected a letter from the Rajasthan government and have decided to continue their strike, which has paralysed major highways and railway routes running through eastern Rajasthan. "Their agitation will continue despite the Rajasthan government's letter to the prime minister. Rajasthan government must ensure ST status for Gujjars," said Col Bainsala, leader, Gujjars.
