Air Emergency: Visible Smog, Invisible Cities
A day after Diwali, pollution in Delhi-NCR region peaked, and has become a major concern with each passing year. According to a survey, 4 in 5 families in Delhi-NCR have someone who is now experiencing ailments due to polluted air and 22 per cent citizens say they or someone in their family have already visited a doctor or a hospital regarding air pollution-related ailments. Many doctors and hospitals in the city have also started reporting a higher number of cases of patients with breathing difficulties.
