The Model Town Assembly seat, one of Delhi's 70 constituencies, falls under the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency. Akhilesh Pati Tripathi of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been the sitting MLA of the constituency, securing the seat three times since 2013.
