Delhi makes a foggy start
Delhi made a foggy start to the New Year on Thursday morning, as a thick blanket of fog descended on the capital after a day's respite. The travel plans of many were disrupted with several flights cancelled or delayed. At 7 o'clock on Thursday morning, six domestic flights from Delhi to Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad were cancelled. Three domestic flights to Delhi from Hyderabad and Mumbai were also cancelled.
