The Big Fight Over Delhi Services Bill
The Delhi services bill, officially known as the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, is likely to be tabled in Parliament tomorrow. The ordinance has been a major flashpoint between Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party and the Centre. The AAP has been opposing this tooth and nail. The BJP calls this the AAP's fear of defeat in both Lok Sabha where the government has brute majority and also in Rajya Sabha where the task is cut out for the opposition unity.
