On The Buck Stops Here, Colonel MN Rai's brother, Commandant YN Rai, pays an emotional tribute to his martyred brother, saying he was not just brave but humane too, something that was highlighted by the fact that he had won the hearts and minds of people in Tral, where he was serving. Himself a gallantry award winner for foiling a fidayeen attack on the Raghunath Temple in Jammu and Kashmir in 2002, Mr Rai, a CRPF officer, says his brother lived and died for people. With Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain in the studio, we also discuss why there have been high casualties in senior ranks of the Armed forces.
