Delhi RWAs oppose govt's move
The Union Urban Development Ministry is planning to bring in a notification to allow shops to open on the ground floor in residential areas in the capital. But resident welfare associations (RWAs) are up in arms against the ministry's move. They are concerned that commercial use of ground floors will see shops mushrooming in residential areas and traffic snarls in colonies.
