In order to resolve the hospital bed crisis in Delhi, the government is now also turning banquet halls into COVID-19 care centres. NDTV reported from the first such Banquet Hall in Delhi which will be operational from today and has been attached with Delhi's biggest COVID dedicated hospital - Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital (LNJP). Over 50 healthcare workers will be deployed at the centre and all services will be free of cost. Those patients who need ICU level care will not be brought here and will be treated only in the hospital. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inaugurated the facility on Wednesday.
