1.3 billion Indians are in a lockdown right now to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading further in the nation. Due to the lockdown, India is faced with the impending loss of livelihoods, increased poverty and malnutrition among the daily wagers and migrant labourers. The repercussions of the curfew, suspension of public transport and closure of eating places have rendered many stranded in the capital wandering around in search of food; however, there is are some hunger heroes in the national capital that have come forward to make a difference.
