Delhi Traffic Police Revise Speed Limit For Vehicles
The Delhi Traffic Police on Friday revised the speed limit for vehicles on the capital's roads. "Delhi Traffic Police notifies maximum speed limit for different categories of motor vehicles plying on Delhi roads from time to time keeping in view the traffic scenario, road safety and other key developments in road infrastructure," Traffic Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police Meenu Choudhary said. The last revision of speed limits on majority of roads and road stretches was undertaken in 2011. Then, in 2017 and 2019, the maximum speed limit for few roads was further revised, Ms Choudhary added. (Credit: ANI)
