Delhi Zoo Implements Measures To Help Animals Cope With The Intense Heat
As temperatures soar in the national capital, several precautions are being implemented at the Delhi zoo. The steps include the installation of coolers and sprinklers in animal enclosures to help them cope with the rising temperatures. The water in the mud ponds and wallowing pools within the enclosures is also changed at an interval of 3-10 days, depending on the number of animals using them.
