Delimitation Debate: Why Is The South Worried?
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has once again thrust the issue into the spotlight, calling it a “sword hanging over southern states.” Stalin warns that the 2026 delimitation exercise, based on population, could slash Tamil Nadu’s Lok Sabha seats from 39 to 31, penalizing states that curbed growth while northern states gain clout.
