Delta Variant And Vaccines: Decreased Efficacy, But Protection Against Severe Disease
Data suggests that there could be decreased efficacy of the vaccines against the Delta variant of coronavirus. But vaccines do grant protection against sever disease. AIIMS chief Dr Randeep Guleria said the variant could still cause a large number of infections and therefore, even vaccinated people need to be careful.
