Demand may see shift on import duty hike: PC Jewellers
Jewellery demand may shift towards diamond jewellery as gold prices rise in response to a higher import duty, says Sanjeev Bhatia, director of finance at PC Jewellers. However, he adds that he does not expect much impact on revenues due to the move.
