Dera Chief Ram Rahim Verdict: 2 States Virtually Shut Down
A day before the CBI court is expected to deliver a verdict on a rape case against Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Punjab and Haryana have turned into fortresses. Paramilitary forces have been called in, trains have been cancelled, section 144 has been imposed and internet services are suspended for the next 72 hours. Schools have also been shut down.
