Desperate Uttar Pradesh village offers cash for visit by MLA or MP

In a unique form of protest, the villagers of Bagholwa in Allahabad district have announced a reward of Rs. 10,000 if their MLA and MP visit them. The reason: The villagers are fed up with the poor state of their roads, and other civic amenities and say that the ministers are not bothered about these after winning the elections.
