At a time when visa issues, the outsourcing backlash and the US immigration bill are giving IT giants sleepless nights, TK Kurien, CEO of the 7 billion dollar software giant Wipro, tells NDTV that the diplomatic row over Devyani Khobragade could have been handled better and a public spat with the US will have public consequences. He says India needs economic success to demand respect. Mr Kurien says all the hype around India has gone away and while there is more realism around the India story, we clearly aren't offering enough opportunities for global investors to lap up.
