Dharmapuri: 200 Dalit houses burnt
Thanks to social reforms, lives of Dalits are getting transformed. But now they are facing a new threat. Non-Dalits who once oppressed them feel threatened by their economic empowerment and are turning against them. In one such case, around 200 Dalit houses were set on fire in Tamil Nadu's Dharmapuri district and their properties and livelihood completely destroyed, allegedly by the Vanniar community.
