Anti-ragging activist professor Rajendra Kachroo says there is an anti-ragging helpline that students can dial if they need help. The number is 1800-180-5522. The death of a student of Jadavpur University in West Bengal has sparked massive outrage across the nation, with calls for strict action against those who organise ragging in institutions. So far 13 people, including former and current students, have been arrested in connection with the death of the student.
