Did govt go soft on Dow after Bhopal gas tragedy?
A trail of letters written between 2006 and 2008 show that Dow Chemicals had strong support among ministers and top officials in the UPA government on its plea that it was not responsible for cleaning up the Union Carbide site after the gas tragedy that left 20,000 dead.
