There's trouble once again in Mamata Banerjee's Bengal for speaking one's mind. A professor of a government college has been show caused for criticising Mamata's economic policies on TV as has another professor. The education minister says he only wants to know if the teachers took mandatory permission from the government to go on TV. But many feel Mamata simply won't tolerate any criticism. In April, a professor was beaten up and jailed for mailing a cartoon lampooning the Mamata government.
