Differences in CPM surface after meet
Differences have surfaced in Kerala CPM a day after the party politburo defended state Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan's rival in the party Pinarayi Vijayan in SNC Lavalin corruption case. Achuthanandan's first reaction after the politburo meeting that his fight against corruption will continue was in fact an indirect reference to the corruption case against Vijayan. Minutes after Achuthanandan's statement, Pinarayi hit back in Kochi saying the chief minister's fight against corruption was not an individual's fight but part of collective decision of the party.
