DMK-Jayalalithaa war ahead of polls
The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu is clearly on a poaching spree ahead of assembly polls. First it was the 380 crore rupee classical Tamil conference in Coimbatore in a bid to make a dent in Jayalalithaa's stronghold. Following this the party's heavy weight M K Alagiri has taken the battle to amma's turf by organising a huge free medical camp at her constituency Aundipatti. But will this work?
