It was difficult to prevent Amul's entry into Karnataka in this competitive era. Former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah said this during an exclusive interview with PTI. However, he said his party would appeal to the people of Karnataka to not buy Amul products and only go for Nandini. Gujarat-based dairy cooperative Amul announced on April 5 that it would enter the Karnataka market to supply its milk and curd. The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) sells milk, curd and other dairy products under the brand name Nandini. (Video Credit: PTI)
