Richard Ross, global technical analyst at Auerbach Grayson, says investors should not put their heads in the sand and brush this US downgrade off even if it was widely anticipated. He adds the downgrade presents a bad picture of the US economy related to slowing GDP growth, high unemployment and housing market problems.
