A number of incidents have happened over this last week that force us to think about a pattern - in Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, despite the administration denying permission, ABVP workers put up loudspeakers to play out 'Hanuman Chalisa' as a counter to the 'Azaan' from mosques. Then, the 'bulldozer justice' in Madhya Pradesh, where there are allegations that the bulldozer is only being used against members of a community. In West Bengal, the Chief Minister has been accused of shielding Trinamool members - when a minor was gang-raped and she succumbed to injuries. This forces one question - do political sides define justice?
