Domestic abuse is a global phenomenon and happens across communities and populations in the United States, but immigrant women are especially vulnerable. Reshma James, a 24-year-old victim of domestic abuse, showed immense bravery in trying to leave her husband who shot her in the head this weekend in the United States.
