Don't Make Child Abuse A Taboo, Talk About It: Derek O'Brien
Talking about sharing his own experience of abuse as a child in a Parliament speech, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and Chief National Spokesperson of All India Trinamool Congress, Derek O'Brien said that it was difficult but also important to do so. He highlighted the need for awareness, open discussion about sexual abuse as some of the first steps that need to be taken to tackle the problem.
