Speaking to NDTV on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Commerce Minister Anand Sharma says that India has a commitment towards reforms and will put in place policies that would attract investments. He says his interactions with top CEOs of the world indicate that they want to engage more with India. In context of the Supreme Court calling FDI in multi-brand retail a gimmick, he said the constitutional demarcation between the legislature, the executive and the judiciary should always be respected, adding that this will only send mixed signals to investors.
