DoT allocates 3G spectrum to telcos

Besides state owned MTNL and BSNL, Bharti and Hutch have also been given 3G for testing which is temporary allocation for a month. This 3G spectrum is one thousand times lower than operation level. It is meant for indoor demonstration and equipment testing but cannot be used for commercial purpose.
