During PM's Independence Day Speech, Big Push For Women-Led Development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his 10th Independence Day speech at the Red Fort said more girls are opting for STEM subjects than boys. "During a foreign visit, I was asked if girls in India take part in science and engineering. I told them that in India, more girls than boys are in STEM (science technology, engineering, maths)" PM Modi said.
