Earnings review: GIC Housing finance Q1 results
M Sivaraman, MD of GIC Housing Finance, says the fall in profit in the first quarter was due to the hike in interest rates which led to the rise in the cost of borrowing funds. He said the disbursement growth during the quarter also fell particularly in Mumbai market.
