Earnings review: UCO Bank Q1 results

Arun Kaul, chairman of UCO Bank, says the net interest income of the bank has come down because of rise in cost of funds by nearly 1.8 per cent. Net profit of UCO Bank in the first quarter of FY12 rose by 12.42 per cent at Rs 292 crore as compared to Rs 260 crore in the same corresponding period last fiscal.
