Ease of Doing Business: Can India be in the Top 50?
Ease of doing business is one parameter by which Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants the success of his government to be judged. World Bank's latest ranking of countries is out and it ranks India 130th out of 189 countries. On the face of it, not a very pretty statistic but the good news is that after many years India has finally moved up the ranks by a significant 12 places. On the show, special guests Onno Ruhl, Country Director, World Bank and Amitabh Kant, Secretary Department of Industry Policy and Promotion, the man who is spearheading government initiatives of improving ease of doing business in India.
