"Companies extrapolated during Covid...There was a lot of short-term demand...This economic tightening is going to be long drawn...Meta is facing competition from TikTok...These are some of the factors," Manish Maheshwari, Co-Founder, Fanory and Former Head of Twitter India, said when asked the reason behind the big tech layoffs.
