"Economy today is reviving and is probably in the level it was in 2019-20," said Finance Secretary TV Somanathan. "The national rural employment guarantee scheme is intended in its architecture which makes it a demand-based scheme, government schemes are of 2 types, some are entitlement based, the national rural employment guarantee scheme is a demand-based scheme," he said.
