'Education Is The Most Important Weapon Against Child Labour And Abuse'

Payal Jangid, Former Bal Pradhan of Hinsla Bal Mitra Gram had raised her voice against being married off at the age 11. According to her, children need to understand that education is a fundamental right and they are entitled to it. Payal strongly voices the view that we don't acknowledge the problem of child marriage. There was a belief in her community that marrying off girls at a young age is holy. Due to the efforts of the Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation and volunteers like her, now every child in her village and surrounding areas go to school and there are no child marriages anymore.
