Eight years after rape, battle for justice still on
In 2004, NDTV had reported the rape of an eight-year-old child and how her family came forward to lodge a police complaint despite fear of social stigma and pressure. Eight years later, the family is still fighting a long battle for justice. They have paid a big price socially and economically but have got no help or support.
