Election Commission Alleges Fake Cases And 'Mischievous Narratives'

The Election Commission Of India held a press conference today, a day before the Lok Sabha results are announced, with a theme "Incredible Story Of Seven Phases Of General Elections 2024" chaired by CEC Rajiv Kumar. During the address, the CEC alleged many people tried to create fake narratives this election season, which had the potential to grievously  harm the electoral process and even promote anarchy.

The Commission addressed several issues related to the elections, model code of conduct, security concerns and overall success of the voting exercise across seven phases.
