"Himachal Votes For Jobs": Congress Candidate And Ex Chief Minister's Son Vikramaditya Singh

Vikramaditya Singh, the son of former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and Congress candidate from Shimla Rural, said elections in Himachal Pradesh are fought on local issues. The hill state is voting today in the assembly election. "At the reception of the Prime Minister, people are going to elect the Chief Minister, not the Prime Minister," Mr Singh said, adding he misses his father, who died in 2021. "People will vote for the Congress for its pension and employment programmes," he said.
