Elephant Calf Reunited With Herd In Tamil Nadu
A heartwarming story from Tamil Nadu....In the Manambolly range private forest area of Anamalai Tiger Reserve, the Wildlife Department officials reunited a 4 to 5 month old elephant calf with its herd after it was found roaming in a private estate, separated from its mother. The elephant herd was searched for with the help of drones and the calf was safely reunited after giving him a bath to remove any human imprints or smells.
