Enabling scheme: Pvt sector set to employ disabled
Last year when the government tried to push reservation for SC and STs in the private sector, business houses had come together to scuttle the move. Now, they may have little choice, when it comes to providing jobs for the disabled. In a significant move, the Union Cabinet on Thursday approved a scheme to give incentives to the private sector to employ one lakh-disabled people a year.
