Union Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh told NDTV the entire world is keenly watching India's Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. The lander Vikram has separated successfully from the main spacecraft. "It was Chandrayaan-1, which brought home evidence through pictures about the presence of water on the surface of the moon. That was an eye-opener for the entire world because they started asking questions about possible habitation on the moon, the feasibility of living on the moon," Mr Singh told NDTV. The lander Vikram is expected to make a soft landing on the moon on August 23.
