Moments before 61 people were crushed under a speeding train and over 70 left injured in Amritsar, an organiser of the Dussehra event had announced to former lawmaker Navjot Kaur Sidhu, the chief guest, that her fans were so enthusiastic to see her that they would stand on tracks and won't move even if hundreds of trains pass by suggesting that the tragedy was a direct result of the organisers' negligence.
