Event In Delhi Chief Minister Atishi's Constituency Halted By Cops
An event organised by the Kalkaji Vishansabha Punjabi Academy was halted by the police. The programme, in Chief Minister Atishi's constituency Kalkaji, was stopped allegedly due to a lack of proper permission. The police arrived at the venue, stopped the event, and asked the crowd to disperse. According to the police, a casual performance licence is necessary for any public event or entertainment. The AAP has, however, alleged that the programme was stopped at the behest of Ramesh Bidhuri, who is a BJP leader and will be contesting against Atishi from Kalkaji.
